.. Im pretty sure that most people understand that these ' conductors ' being and about to be drilled may not be nickel...

.. by nature Nickel is one of the most abundant minerals in the world ... but is extremely difficult to find in large proportions ....

... these large nickel ' anomolies ' are often at great depth ... which is why to date they have not been discovered and hence not mined ...

... the advances in Electromagnetic surveying which give us a ' map ' of the underlying rock act much like an underground radar by bouncing back signals that signify different rock stuctures ...

..... the targets being drilled by SEG are deemed to be ' intrusions ' .... whereby malfic ( or igneous / molten rock ) has forced it's way into the surrounding sedimentary rocks ... much like squeezing some polyfilla into a hole into a wall cavity ... and we are now drilling down to see exactly what has forced its way into that cavity or weaker rock zone ....
