Thanks for your interesting response BT. Would have to check remedies to see if you are right- which you probably are.
I would also like to see a better offer- what about in specie payment to minority shareholders to compensate for their diluted interests?
I do fear that aside the cost/merits/time factor, the smell of litigation could trigger a quick liquidation.
I just find it interesting how often this scenario presents- a company that claims to be doing fine is suddenly on the brink...ought something not be done about that? That certainly is not a level playing field!
