When I borrowed for my first property in the early 1970s I had to provide tangible proof of my income.
The cost of living was assumed.
What has happened? How can people lie?
Or did the submitters embellish the truth?
I honestly thought that people would become smarter and more savvy as we crossed into the 2000s. They appear to be a bigger bunch of morons than the dudes that had to counter prohibition.
