So if we are sitting on a company with an intrinsic value of say “$1.50” and markets are forward looking and the share price is what it is and it is what it is for a reason, right? but like most holders are scratching our heads as to why. The market knows this stock its been around for a long time and still fails to see any value, so if it is so cheap why even is there no prospect of a merger or take over been priced in?
We as holders would all agree this is an undervalued entity with hope for some share price appreciation, but take into consideration that the market has moved to all time highs and I am aware that this has been driven primarily by the big end of town none of this has rubbed off on the share price.
Then we have very little in the way of communications from the company, they start a buyback (sort of) then it stops and no communication what so ever, one would think at these prices then that the company would get serious about buying stock back considering all your observations, these things really annoy shareholders.
