i'm a bit suspicious of this asteriod fever here is a theory: get people into accepting that it is increasingly more likey that an asteriod will hit the earth, by creating artificial asteroids, phenomena. mix it with some lies, then blast a spot on the earth, perhaps somewhere in the middle east with HAARP or scalar weaponary, wipe out most of the life in the area and blame it on an asteriod. then move in and occupy it. after all, what about the recent concern surrounding iran and it's potential nuclear capacity? it seems like a war with iran would open a can of worms
all of this earthquake/tsunami/asteriod disaster stuff is coincidentally close to what some regard as the end of that cycle of the mayan calander in dec 2012.
