Yes I am not suggesting Global is a good buy, but there should be limited downside. I only glanced at it, the main thing I noticed when I did about a year back was the adjacent block in Namibia was owned by same directors as Global which makes you wonder a little. The directors seem well seasoned from quick glance. I don't generally buy oilies - but I do have a quick look from time to time.

It is better when the directors own shares though, the Global guys own a lot. However sometimes this means they care little for the minority shareholders also as they treat it like a private company. Other times it means they care a lot.
