Lovecce - Your comment that "Listed companies will give a better return quicker." seems to indicate a positive motive for hiving off 10% from Latent to a little publicly listed vehicle.
Latent gets some cash from that vehicle, while the boys retain a substantial interest in that vehicle, spreading the risk, and creating some additional capital in TSV.
That seems alright for us "non-loop" holders in circumstances where there is a real tangible value to be realised.
Presumably, it is when similar events occur but the value is a mirage or very remote possibility that you have a very high risk of getting taken for a ride?
Doesn't appear to be the case here.
Business operates in a perosnal level behind the "corporate persons" constructed and I don't mind the people setting them up being well-placed to benefit - if it isn't at my expense.
