"ALL" is not right. only around ⅔ of Americans voted. only around half voted for Trump.
US is a diverse community like Aus and any other country. the whole nation can't be the same as the Trump supporters.
we too buy the Chinese goods. our politicians started by telling our manufacturers to go off-shore. American pollies at the time said the same. and so off-shore turned into Chinese manufacturing and the Aussie or American owners of such businesses were eventually displaced through competition, under-cutting in order to bring about Chinese business ascendancy.
it had nothing to do with ordinary yokels and mugs or even the intelligentsia. our pollies created Chinese Greatness and dominance. and yes we were happy with the cheaper prices. what fools we all are. I tried to buy Aussie, but no manufacturers anymore. I preferred Euro manufacturers, but they are so much dearer than the Chinese crap. we are caught in the devil's bargain, as Joni Mitchell called it.
from a report the other day, many Aussies agree with you and are cancelling their American tours. refusing the danger of travelling in the deranged country.
