blasphemy is about speaking ill of a religious figure , this has nothing to do with blasphemy .
He was arrested so a trial for those accused of a crime could go ahead without the jury being prejudiced by seeing the accused in the media , if the jury were aware of the criminals in the case and their previous convictions then the accused would have got off scott free .

In saying that he should have had access to a lawyer and he still should have been allowed to come out on bail rather than being locked up for months so he does seem to have been set up by the politicians .

Obvious a tinder box in Britain at the moment and he seems to have sparked that now once again as traditionally happens in France and Britain the working class are revolting .
