But that’s exactly what he’s doing. Getting public support by shaming the government. Unfortunately he has to break the law to do this. Because the government is so ashamed that they’ve banned any discussion of it. He is undoubtedly an odious character in my eyes, but I have to admire his stand for what is right.
I have had similar problems with Qld police. The local station is great when it comes to bullying P platers and pensioners, but take a case of sexual assault to them and they refer you to the Israeli embassy in Canberra. Request a FOI and they lie to you there, releasing only two of the three documents on file. Fortunately I know a senior inspector and two Ass. Comms., but it shouldn’t have to work that way. So I understand Tommy’s frustration.
