Easy for me, in safe and sleepy Aus  to write this, my home won't be bombed today  by friendly fire, but, still ,  the facts remain. Despite the tech. shift to smart bombs, etc etc , you will not defeat ISIS without

a)  troops on the ground.........the west won't envisage this scenario at all. End of story.

b)  You hit ISIS wherever it hides , the gutless bully that it is , and that means taking out innocent civilians as well.But u do reduce isis numbers.

c) You limit your air-strikes to not include the innocent , which guarantee's that ISIS will grow  to ever increasingly  sub-human levels of depravity  re  torture , rape and killing  in ever-  increasing numbers .

How much do they really want freedom ?
