    1. The West I refer to is my West not your interpretation of it, If you prefer East then go there
    2. Far from being brainwashed, how about you telling us why your parents came to this safe haven if it was not both politically and domestically safe to do so ? Furthermore, they must have liked what they found as they have stayed. or was it more a case of the "economic" rewards this country created for them it was worth the distaste of our Western style politics and convictions ?
    3. The Australian citizenship pledge which your parents and you would have sworn to. if any of you actually became Australians
    "I pledge my loyalty to Australia and its people, whose democratic beliefs I share, whose rights and liberties I respect, and whose laws I will uphold and obey"

    If any of that upsets you, I suggest you get back to the ME
