It looks like they will also have a powdered milk. A2M abandoned the UHT format a couple of years ago as they couldn't find a manufacturer to produce in such small volumes. The Fonterra deal may change this position.

But as you indicated, the end game will be the IF market . This is interesting because no doubt A2M would have helped the Perich farms establish their A2 herds as they supply A2M's fresh milk on the east coast. So it appears there is no contractual clause to stop them from using the milk as A2 milk for their own products . Maybe this is part of the reason we partnered with Fonterra.

We knew this day would come and it will be interesting to see how Freedom market/promote the A2 Protein products. I suspect they will rely on A2M to do all the A2 awareness promotion and hope to piggy back off that and even cause confusion in the supermarkets by making their product look similar to A2M. Similar to Lion’s tactics.

It will be interesting to see the initial share market reaction today.
