@MirCat; our politicians' decisions to betray Australia's core values by elevating one group of Australians above all others will prove counter-productive.

We've already seen it play out on this forum whereby some posters have alleged that even the slightest scrutiny / criticism of what Netanyahu's Regime has been doing to Palestinians has been declared to be 'anti-Semitism'. by several posters.

And the washup ... the continuing-US resourced slaughter of Palestinian civilians is now seen by the ICJ, the ICC and the UNSC collectively view as war crimes, crimes against humanity, ethnic-cleansing and genocide.

Because of ill-conceived and incredibly stupid actions taken by our politicians, what Hitler's Third Reich did to Jews has become the prism through which decent and fair-minded people are increasingly viewing what Netanyahu's Regime is doing to Palestinians.
