There are just so many more ways to express "freedom of speech" now than even 20 years ago.
Maybe in these global, socially connected times the onus has switched to all of us to be responsible given spoken and written words can go go around the world in seconds never to be retrieved.
With increased freedom comes increased responsibility imo.
