Graza I very much agree with your post. Reading the history of the Great Depression many severe adn sudden tactics occurred or were implemented at short notice. You mentioned freezing money in the banks. There were also the bank runs, confiscation of gold which we all know about, and also over night devaluations of currency. If things go that way we will be in for some surprises. Its hard to imagine what the effect is on peoples confidence living through such times.
