People on this thread argue that DNA testing is "expensive" which generally is not true. Yes, DNA testing is more expensive than ELISA which is what ColoSTAT is, but only insofar that DNA requires extraction reagents which generally adds around $5.00 to the cost of running the assay. The $5.00 additional cost is a rounding error.
