Possibilities and opportunities.

Now that the IOS release is complete, is it possible that Apple would be interested in pre loading freeway onto its iphones and ipads etc?

What we do know that the global success of netflix has changed the landscape.

What we also know is that consumers are still prepared to pay $6.99 to rent a new release movie through itunes, $3.49 an episode for a TV series and $1 to $15 to buy a game. It is likely that the OTT product will need to be finalised for it all to work.

The question that Apple or any content provider will ask is;

1. Will it result in more Movies and TV shows being rented? Answer: Yes
2. Will it result in more games being downloaded and played? Answer: Yes
3. Will it result in increased revenue? Answer: Yes
4. Is it possible that multiple OTT services will be released in 2017 and we need to protect our dominant position? Answer: Yes

I acknowledge that freeway could be pre loaded on any mobile with the right agreement. I also acknowledge that the business model is not reliant on such agreements. The white label option for its products gives them multiple bites at the cherry.
