Goes to show how much people want and need data and the lengths a few will go to get something for nothing
Hopefully Rahul and Gary nip these things in the butt from the minority that would be able to figure these clever ways to get around not having to perform the tasks
Every day on my way to work there is an intersection that gets stupid busy
When I'm driving up to it and it's a red light and the oncoming right hand turn hasn't begun driving I know to turn left and use the roundabout and then turn left and it bypasses the intersection
Saves me 5 minutes a day and I'm like George, got to make good time in the car
I've only ever noticed a few others do this and always think to myself why doesn't everyone do this
But they don't, hundreds of people just line up and sit through two sets of lights sometimes
Point is, mankind is like this in every way
There's always minority's that do things to work the system or get around having to do what they're supposed to
And then there's a tonne of people in between sitting at traffic lights, doing the 'right' thing
Take downloading music/videos
People found ways to steal these things but the industry is still making money and actors and musicians and everyone in between are still making money because the majority do the right thing
I'd say this is the reason why some accounts have been getting frozen and the boys are working to try and stop this from happening
Again, it's only a minority that rate an app
I've been asking friends if they've ever rated an app since it's been brought up on here and not one person has said they have ever left a review or rated the app
It's always minority's that make the most noise and as someone has already said, even the bad reviews are good in a way because the person must actually want to use the app and have it work for them
And if it's someone strategically leave a bad review and keeping it that way (ie databack employee or something like that) it's a compliment, as they must see us as competition coming through
Anyway
MWC next week and it will be an interesting watch and listen of the discussion that takes place
