Headbanger,
Never under estimate the ignorance of the average individual - obviously failed here :). I already feel like I debating my father.
I'm now generally adverse to debates on public forums and as compelling as your stated position is I hold my "right mind" and right to disagree with AGW. Gross statements of "... no one in their right mind ..." don't lend well to your compelling position. I would suggest that the "absolutely convincing" Laws of understanding are revised with and when greater knowledge or ability to analyse with say technological advances.
I also disagree that fossil fuels will be banned. They will be nationalised or globalised - long before their fully depleted, to suit what order is in charge. It will have nothing to do with AGW. Carbon pricing is a further part of the con. It's not about limiting carbon - it's to construct another false economy. It's as false as a FIAT currency. This economy is now tradable and biased to the order that constructed it and will profit from it.
Yet wait, not agreeing with AGW is ignorant? There's a problem and simply what I expect from these debates. Emotive play the man not the ball statements. I'm not ignorant - far from it.
So Headbanger, I take this opportunity to politely say whilst I agree with your right to state your agreement with AGW - I hold my right to disagree. I wont use AGW to help promote uranium usage as there's no need. I also certainly won't be wasting my time debating a position when I'm already being branded as ignorant for the reason of questioning and holding an alternate opinion. Be assured - I hold no grudge though.
One of my passions is media and it's manipulation by and to others. I ask a simply question, and I'm not wanting a response, why is it that if the evidence for Anthropogenic Global Warming is so conclusive that it's referred as "climate change" rather than "global warming" as was the norm.
I can assure you that nothing in any "produced" media is by chance - it is all planned. Whether by statement or omission it is to produce meaning to influence.
Interestingly, I didn't state "earth is flat mentality". I did use the analogy. I'd expect a Phd would quote accurately.
Should I wonder why ... Hidden meaning. Agenda ... ;)
Wishing you the best.
