just goes to show the germans now have to have a serious re-think about Nuclear power..the Japanese soon came to realise....they could'nt survive without nuclear power....
better planning and updated plants is what is required....not panic driven statements to opt out of nuclear.....

.if they let the greens call the shots...they will all freeze to death..the economy will collapse.......it'd be good for green leader Brown to spend the next 3 months in Germany with no heating ...and just give him a solar panel to generate his own heat....
