This post is meant to be optimistic in case someone thinks otherwise! We are excited by a 12% rise in SP but it is an illusion based on a totally insignificant sale. As of today, the total number of shares for sale on the open market is about 0.03% of the total. Now, if you look at the historical chart you will see that this is why TIG entered an inexorable slide right from the start. One of the best days ever sales were less than 0.5% (although at the time, years ago, I know there were almost significant trades off market). Sales are rarely greater than a fraction of 1%.
Strangely enough, TIG has always looked like it was ready to pop. Promises were always delivered. Russia became a dirty word but any intelligent investor could see that Russia knows how to get coal to the Asian market, smoothly and efficiently without Green propaganda to hinder it. The Chukotka Government has shown the likes of Australia and Canada how it's done, responsibly.
Now, there is no good reason why the opposite trend (ie., upwards) should not occur, for the same reasons it has gone downward. My guess is that a rise to true value will fuel itself and become, for a while, exponential. As a guide, my feeling is that a slow but consistent rise to reach 10c would fuel a faster rise to 20c then who knows? I can see a fully funded, consistently productive business, where there is no interference from the West being worth 80c per share.
To be where we are, debt free and producing, is pretty unique in this mining business. The Board has, IMO, skillfully managed our progress; the only thing to suffer has been the SP to a point where it is verging on nonsense.
The rise to 10c will depend on how the market views money in the Bank, soon to come (cash from sales and debt funding).
