    Does anyone know the practicality of transporting say 50mtpa of crushed ore by slurry pipeline from Freida to ok Tedi. I see one copper mine in s/America does 37mtpa but that may well be downhill. Our ore would have to go over a number of BIG hills. Unless we find a fair bit of copper soon in the Star mountains to tempt Ok Tedi ,Freida ore may become a necessity. I can not see the the Png government letting Ok Tedi and the associated town wither on the vine while Freida ore is so close.comments please
