It was unlucky but you had to get a very slow replay to see it. There couldn't be a review because it wasn't a score.
The umpires have to call it as they see it.
The Freo players were all trying to say it was touched but if the umpires believed it every time a player claimed the ball was touched it would be a very slow game.
