The thing I always think about is how teams are travelling at the ar se end of the season - at the start of the season I thought freo, suns and bris would be at the bottom of the ladder. The suns and bris are giving some hope and showing a bit with fairly ordinary cattle - suns had ablett out for much of the season plus a dud coach, bris looked to have the worst list but they have grown through the season and have an excellent coach.

Freo won games early-mid season which surprised the heck out of me but here we are at the end of the season and they are bloody awful - obvious that the coach is a dud but it was obvious 2 or 3 years ago and then they go and extend his contract when they didn't need to mid-season. sack the entire football staff (except for those who voted against lyon if there were any) and give the players a chance.

My guess is that freo will chase roos which would not be helpful.
