I not 100% of the car he was driving, but being he called the manufacturer it would be late model, I think some late model Frog cars such as Renault have push button start and stop, much like the Japs are putting in their cars now too. I believe though if you push the stop button with the throttle open nothing happens so one would become a passenger unforunately. But one would think standing on the brakes while simultaneously using the handbrake would have some slowing effect?
