Sirtex Medical Limited (www.sirtex.com) is a dynamic and rapidly growing Australian medical device company based in Sydney that has novel proven products in the global market place for the treatment of cancer. The company is expanding and requires an Australian based Medical Director to assist in the continued development of the company.

Sirtex has offices and staff in USA and Europe and has Medical Directors in each of those locations. The company is expanding its program of international clinical trials and anticipates rapid growth in the Australian market. The Medical Director will assist in the company’s growth and participate in directing the Clinical Affairs Department that oversees all clinical trials as well as the Australian Marketing team based in Sydney.

The appointee will have an Australian recognised medical degree with a proven understanding of clinical trials function. In addition, a demonstrated interest in business management is required, such as business degree from a recognised University.
