- the eagles had a once in a lifetime draw. That's the benefit of finishing outside the 8. Port will get that next year. But they played Sydney once, at home, they played Hawthorn once, at home. They played 6 of their last 8 games at Subi.
There was alot of mediocrity in the afl this year. Only Hawthorn, West Coast and Freo looked a chance for much of the year. Well done Hawthorn- your kicking skills are light years ahead of everyone else. It showed last week and it showed this week.

Spot on. The only question I have is who retires or gets delisted from the hawthorn fc? And do they have enough run in them to go all the way again with the current list of players? Some aging bodies in that midfield.
