As the AFL states Geelong deserve their home final and rightly so, however this should be applied to all opponents. For the AFL to explicitly say this only applies to Freo and not Sydney is a disgrace. So if they play Sydney all of a sudden the Cats don't deserve a home final?

There is a difference between rewarding Geelong for finishing higher and punishing Freo, particularly when this punishment doesn't extend to other clubs like Sydney.

A qualifying final is hardly the time to start experimenting with different finals venues.

In saying that, it will be the first time this year we'll field our best 22 (barring season ending knee injuries), good chance we'll ambush them wherever its played. Last game there earlier this year we sent a skeleton crew, Id expect a different ballgame this time.
