There is a reason the big corporate beer companies effectively take a loss to price out competitors to get these contracts. Nothing beats an exclusive tap that gets your product into the hands of a diverse range of consumers under the right circumstances.
From 3cents this really has been a great turn-around story and I think we have a future of potentially double where we are in a year or so. I'd like to see GRB consider another acquisition in the future to use the full capacity of the brewery and raise their own production over contract volumes, and I'd also like to see them push products or potentially look to international acquisitions has part of their next 5 year plan. That's the one weakness I find in Australian craft beer is that the local scene is so competitive and independents don't have the resources to look beyond Australia.
Brands like Mikkeler, Brooklyn and Goose Island are good examples of early movers into Asia.
