PS: MK, I still think I'd like to see more details about the MasterKey Custom SMSF option you spoke of. Sounds like there are some managers fees etc included and depending on the funds involved (and any external ones, as mentioned before), that could answer it. 2.6% sounds a bit high to me, so I'll have to dig into some more info I have. It is a SMSF and clients can have external assets, but the costs really do need to be looked at closely. Like I said, 2.6% is higher than other examples I've seen.
I've also seen a coupla examples of Financial Planning Accountants gouging their clients to setup and invest into an SMSF. Man, it was scarry!
