Is it Zantrene or Bisantrene?
Technically it’s Bisantrene Dihydrochloride, but in most of the historical literature it’s referred to as Bisantrene (biz-AN-treen, for those curious of pronunciation). When Bisantrene was approved in France in 1990 it was marketed as Zantrene®. After it was rediscovered in 2013, Bisantrene was primarily used. August 2021 RAC switched to Zantrene for all comms and market announcements – a strategic move in preparation for marketing. Some papers also refer to it as CS1. For this FAQ I’ll just use Zantrene.
