It appears that the trade war will be far longer and more disruptive to the sector than anyone could have reasonably anticipated. I'd say that means LNG will not be able to capitalise on its regulatory timeline advantage and has missed the wave.
As always the buck stops with those getting the bucks so Vesey et al's positions are no longer tenable.
The best result now would be a takeover by Tellurian or Qatar Petroleum. They won't be in any hurry and will be happy to let the price slide further.
There's no white swan on the horizon but you never know.
