Thanks for posting something humorous Frankie, makes a nice difference from comments that try to obscure topics raised here, by using straw man and other diversionary tactics. I say tactics because those type of comments don't present arguments; and often have nothing to do with the arguments and facts raised here.
An recent example being a comment questioning how is GV responsible for the global macro situation! As if anyone actually said he was!! What has been said on this thread are quotes (Verbatim I’m afraid Timbo, as that is the only way to quote!) of what GV and the company have said, and share holders can judge for themselves whether they have or haven’t materialised.
Here are a few quotes from the company, followed by facts related to Bear Head: “Bear Head is in an advanced stage of development”; “Construction could start by as early as 2018”; “LNG expects to get its feed gas supply from a combination of Western or Central Canada, the US, or offshore Nova Scotia”; “Bear Head is strategically positioned”.
Facts: Bear Head has its permits but is hardly in an advanced stage of development. LNG doesn’t have the capital required to keep the company running past another 6 months let alone think about think about construction on an overgrown plot of land, and those who have done the research know there is no feed gas from the 3 sources mentioned and they know the reasons why, so you can hardly say the site is strategically positioned. You might as well say Fisherman's Landing is on a strategic site.
I really wish HC had a separate forum for traders but it doesn’t seem to. It would be eye opening to see how they reacted to each other’s comments depending on which ones were looking at buying and which ones were looking at selling. I don’t know why they don’t start their own thread, perhaps someone could tell me?!
I know I have different views from knowledgeable commentators like Timbo and jkerr, but I still respect their posts because I see the integrity in their posts, (Timbo with more passion than some!) and they are investors in the company.
My posts by comparison have been critical; comments that investors don’t like hearing about a company they invest in, yet they have received more ‘likes’ than comments by those who use diversionary tactics. Reading the threads I think investors have a fair idea of who is fair dinkum and who isn’t.
That’s all just my opinion of course, and probably a little selfish as I would like to spend more time in the surf than on my computer. Anyway, like I started this post, thanks for providing some humour Frankie, and thanks to posters and jokers whose comments I may not agree with, but see the integrity behind like mrwalker, possum, doctornoh, Champee, Ex, Monsieur Wilson, FD, Harv, Airbags, Hamsa and Bort and Timbo’s band of non ‘Cupboard’ conforming holders!! No 'likes' thanks fellas, I'm just saying it as I see it because I'm sick of seeing distracting tactics employed that's all!!
Possibilities I see at the moment with LNG are that the price might have settled around a CR price or GV might release an equity arrangement soon. Neither may happen, but one thing for sure, both will mean dilution.
Hopefully now I can spend less time here and more time in the surf!!
