The criticism of Bear Head also looks to me to be unjustified. It is in an advanced state of development.
It is very close to also being "shovel ready" once supply is sorted out. True there have been setbacks but a forty year project can wait a few more years.
Your criticism of the claim the site is strategically positioned is also looks unjustified. Management have never claimed that it was strategically positioned due to ready gas access but rather proximity to European markets.

If LNG really is the bridge fuel that the second wave relies on then it is in Canada's interest to get the gas to the east coast.
