In the meanwhile I have my suspicions this legislation likely only has jurisdiction over 'operations' in this country notwithstanding that LNG is listed on the ASX. That's been about their only connection since ol' Fishy was sold.

where Chinese gov't owned Zijin Mining is trying to wrestle a considerable holding Minority owned shares (~30%) from us, we got barely even lip service to our concerns from ASX, ASIC etc because the platinum resource is in S.Africa.

It didn't bother the Australian authorities one iota that there are supposed to be consequences for behaving contrary to rules applied to entities listed here, and funded by principally Oz investors. They used the 'get out' that the company had been 'registered' in Bermuda.
