I started this thread for posters’ to voice their concerns on what they feel about the company’s ability to make good on the statements they have made to investors in order to sell their business. One of this thread’s focuses is to see if the company’s more recent media comments actually materialise, or if it’s just more speculation. Some people have already given these quotes the thumbs up because they either believe everything the company says or maybe they just hope it will make the SP go up, I’ll give them the thumbs up when they actually reach FID. So again, here are some of the quotes made in the last three weeks from GV and John Baguley:
“Our technology does give us an edge over other competing projects”; “Sure, our technology is better, but our means of delivering it are also better,"; "I don’t think there are many organisations that could shift the way they do business to the extent that they could exploit what it is we’re able to do with this technology”; “The focus on mid-scale liquefaction is a trend that is shared across the industry, and this is a movement that was perhaps started by LNG Limited”; “LNG Limited has “cracked that paradigm”; “We have something that is substantially better than anything else that's available on the market”; and of course: Construction on the Magnolia facility is expected to begin later this year; And construction on a US$4.5-billion liquefied natural gas plant in Cape Breton could start by as early as next year.
I have no doubt these and other quotes will be referenced in the future, whether the reference is positive or negative is up to the company.
