I really didnt read much into the Listing Rule 6.18 Waiver which was flagged in the IDG annoucement.
Rule 6.18 simply says an option cannot be granted by the company over a set % of the company's share capital.
the IDG agreement says it has a right to maintain a 9.9% shareholding if there are further share issues etc- this is a common feature in equity subscription agreements- anti-dilution rights. Ergo the requirement to get an exemption from Rule 6.18 which is common on the ASX as well.
