You made one statement and I'm a pain in... and I really go and search.
Sorry to tell you but is 100% incorrect your statement that Kar outperform the energy(in compare with other oil and gas shares you had/look) .
Of course if you choose loosers to compare for sure. But the 150% you stated as comparision lets show you what i discover
a) you bought in BEST scenario around 10/2008 (in worst between 11/20o6 and 1/2008) when the share was around 2 plus
b) Lets assume the best to you bought 10/2008 and lets see
1- If you have invested in BPT or HZN you will have very similar results
2_ If you have invested in BRU-DLS-OSH-SXY you will have an amazing much better results than karoon.
But to your info my friend... this is picking by "coincidence" the best best scenario to Kar/Council.
Because that was an amazing "buying moment".
If you (for example)check any other moment (like 4 years and 8 months ...) or 4 years, or 3 years and so on... Than not just the list of energy sector OVERPERFORM karoon most of shares but kar was the lagard of the sector.
Sorry mate.. But your comment was absolutely not linked with the general reality.
