The human psyche is quite predictable at times. People in general want to feel that their decisions are wise and justified. I read a mantra a while ago on someone's HC profile that read "98 percent of HC posts are upramping towards the companies, yet 98 percent of companies on the Asx are trading lower then their previous highs".
It goes to show how we, as humans, search for justification with our investment decisions. I think the "we love Bob" comments are possibly a "feel good" strategy due to a SP that really does suck. Bob seems like a nice guy, I have no reason to think otherwise, but unfortunately my retirement plan needs more than a Bob love fest.
