For a company operating in Brasil, and selling to the US continent, I am failing to see what side of zilch effect interest rates will have.

Ok, if dividends are produced in the future, then perhaps this will affect how many AUD can get converted, but I would have thought that Brasil being an exporter similar in nature to Australia, they would have similar movements in interest rates and therefore currency fluctuations.
