We both know that Daimler builds mainly old people cars, trucks, buses and anything in between. I certainly dont perceive them as innovative. They try to be consistent and reliable. Maybe I have a false abstraction to the company that builds these vehicles, but I just dont see them as flexible, talent driven. They outsourced all their knowledge, they need partners. I dont think they can do it alone. So would Freyr be a better partner for them than Farasis? Who knows? But I am relatively certain they cant do it alone. Best case for Daimler in my honest opinion would be they buy power trains from tesla and build a chassis on top. Only problem is, these are not yet available. Maybe some day.
