Bulls did a good job overnight using their classic never-gets-old vaccine trick (among other drivers); and managed to take XJO back to the 6000 (cash) battle zone and even somewhat pierce that.
Haven't got a chance to properly look at the chart. But I think we are still within the very local down channel. From memory, there are a couple of gaps above which are well within reach (boomable). I think a gap up (or an up move) on Monday to boom them would be nice and probably be a decent entry for the day for those thinking to short the next session.
I doubt the zone we are in will be lost so easily and without a hard battle.
In any case, the standard XJO behaviour probably still applies to Monday early-trade, and that is harassing/punishing those who wake up and copy US market at XJO open. XJO rule is overnight gains are for overnight holders ---- no late-arrival accepted.
