Footprint charts for futures trading can be very deceiving for a retail trader imo. Market makers with their HFT and low latency order execution can manipulate this to their advantage. Unless you use HFT and specialised low latency trade execution, I don’t see much use in footprint charts for trading futures. All imo though.
