general market conditions are paramount if the options are to be exercised. The market needs to be relatively stable for the oppies to have a chance, sure they have to find something but I am punting that they will find something good enough to ann. and give the options a live chance. Unless you are a long term holder it is not necessarily about the substance of the announcement/s. To give an eg, FMS oppies suffered and eventually expired worthless, I believe, due to a large extent because the market was on the nose at the time.
