I would not be at all surprised if it was cascading stop losses that were at fault for the fri sell off. That is exactly what hapened to me. I took the "safe" option of putting in a conditional sell order to protect my downside, and it got triggered while i was out. By the time I got back, the GDNO price had gone back up and I was well out of pocket. Learned a valuable lesson at some cost.
