Friday 11th Jan - Pineapple day

SPI futures traded in a 37 point range last night, with a high of 5753, low of 5716 and a close this morning of 5749, up 14 points on low volume of 9,453 contracts. Based on that range, my pivot point for today is 5739, with resistance lines at 5776, 5767, 5762, 5758, 5753, and 5749 and support lines at 5730, 5725, 5721, 5716, 5712 and 5702. No gaps above, gaps below at 5744 (a 2 pointer so sure to fill) and 5736 from last night and loads more from previous days. Yes, they just keep pushing it up - albeit on low volume. DOW up .51 pct, SNP up .45 pct and Canada (resource driven) up .57 pct. VIX down 2.40 pct to 19.50. Friday again, and after yesterday, well, it 'feels' like it's make or break time. Pause, pull-back or push... the three P's... Oh, the power of 3... On this day in 1813, the first pineapple was planted in Hawaii - yes, very juicy stuff. Have a nice day.
