When we flew via Auckland to Santiago, we had magnificent views over the Antarctic. You have a day time flight, so you should get good views too. Take care in Quito, lots of Venezuelan refugees there and many are destitute and desperadoes. Try the ceviche, nice dish; the locals add a handful of pop corn to it … odd, but it works. Plus the pisco sours are worth trying.
