My late Father was well regarded for a voice greater than Harry Secombe or Dennis Walter.

He was a Baritone and could bring the house down!

I remember him singing so we could eat.

    No, I am serious.

He sang in a competition in a small country town called Monto, in the early 70's.

Talent competitions were the mecca for anyone with a voice, to make some coin.

Dad had won so, so many competitions. He had been on radio and T.V

We all sat in great, great expectation...

Dad would sing, 'The Impossible Dream'...

Every soaring declaration ... Every deep silky tone...

We knew He would win, and win he did!!!

Standing ovation, tears in the eyes of judges and audience..

I will never forget my pride... I will never forget.

    .

    On a side...

The higher octaves for a baritone range will always be more true than a Tenors.. Imo.. Lol
