Finally after 5 days of having a persistent sporadic hacking cough, I’ve started to get a snotty nose!
I’ve been telling my Doris that it must be her cats that have been causing my cough as at the start of every winter since we’ve been together I have had a week of this type of cough.
This year has been exceptionally cruel though, last weekend I hosted a HHH event and late on Saturday night a fellow Hasher accidentally pushed me off my Ice Seat and into the Shed door.
My head and bad shoulder took the main impact and I was expecting to wake up on Sunday morning with the shoulder being a bit worse for wear.
I was worried about nothing it turned out, shoulder and head was absolutely fine but I pulled an intercostal muscle on the opposite side
I can laugh (a little bit) now without feeling like someone is pushing a Shiv between my ribs.
